Founded in 2019, Universal Youth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and the elderly in communities throughout Alabama and beyond.

Building Our Foundation

On December 21, 2019, Universal Youth Foundation partnered with the Bessemer Police Department for a Jason A. Caffey Basketball Camp and ACT Prep by Valencia Belle which was held at the Bessemer Recreation Center, in Bessemer, Ala. The camp had great participation and support. On October 29, 2019, Universal Youth partnered with the Cleveland Avenue YMCA in Montgomery, Ala., where Universal Youth Foundation President Jason A. Caffey rode the Brown Bag Meal Mobile to three locations, helping to serve nutritious meal to more than 100 needy children in the Montgomery area. On September 14, 2019, Universal Youth Foundation conducted its first Jason A. Caffey Basketball Camp in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at Central High School. The camp was attended by at-risk youth from the area who were taught elite basketball skills and life skills by volunteers from the Northport Police Department. Sponsored by Alabama Senate Minority Leader Bobby Singleton, this inaugural camp proved a success and a model for the camps to follow.
